Over a decade ago, Jim joined the Angus Watt Advisory Group after a
successful career playing professional hockey, which included proudly
playing for Team Canada – fulfilling a childhood dream.
Today the experience he gathered has made him one of the most
trusted wealth advisors in western Canada. In 2016, Jim became a
partner of the Angus Watt Advisory Group.
As part of our trusted Business Anchor team with Angus Watt and Jane
Alm, Jim provides daily business news updates to Albertans over 30
times per week on Global TV and 630 CHED.
Jim’s focus with clients is to understand their goals and lifestyle, providing a customized approach to today’s investment environment.
Jim proudly serves as the Vice President for the National Board of
Kids Up Front and a director within the Edmonton Chapter. Kids Up
Front distributes tickets for arts, cultural, and sporting events to
deserving kids and their families, creating life-changing,
inspirational experiences.
In his off-hours, Jim loves travelling with his wife Caryn and hiking in the mountains with daughters Vivienne and Victoria, and their yellow lab Jessie. Between trips to the mountains Jim will still occasionally hit the ice or the golf greens.
