One-Third of Canadians considering alternative home ownership models amid low affordability
It used to be when discussing housing affordability, the conversation was centred on larger cities like Toronto. But now with surging population growth, higher interest rates and strained housing supply, high home prices are happening across the country. Canadians still see the value in home ownership and would consider purchasing a home using an alternative model in the future.
Asset Allocation - March
In February, the equities rallied again and the markets seem to have resilient economic growth. However the data is confusing about whether the growth will continue, and inflation in the US and Canada do not seem to be alligned. The CIO office thinks all this "fog" calls for modest deviations so has reduced bonds in favour of equities.

St. Patrick's Day and Easter are religous holidays but over time, in North America, celebrations have had less of a religious focus. This is especially true for the parades that celebrate these holidays. Even if I don't go to the parades, the energy they bring the community is always fun

I learn something new every time I look for events. I will have to find time during the week to see if I can catch one of these free noon concert series.
