Over 30+ years of wealth management experience: prior to
joining National Bank Financial in 2002, Frank spent 22 years at
Thomson Kernaghan, a full service boutique brokerage, serving
various senior management roles, including Chief Financial
Officer, before devoting his full attention to sales and
corporate finance in 1992. Frank spent the first 5 years of his
career in Audit with Clarkson Gordon.
Bachelor of Arts - Honours Business
degree from York University and holds the Chartered Professional
Accountant (CPA) designation.
Recipient of the NBF Sharpe Award in 2004
and again in 2006, awarded to the wealth advisor with the
highest risk-adjusted return on cumulative client accounts
within the NBF advisor network (700+ advisors).
Away from the office, Frank is an avid
golfer and has served two terms on the Board of Directors at the
National Golf Club of Canada. Frank is married and has two adult
children.
Frank's core responsibilities:
Portfolio Management– develop, refine,
and implement overall investment strategy. Security selection,
portfolio construction and rebalancing.
Client Communication and Relationship
Management– client communication, meetings, and
problem solving, including immediately responding to client
inquiries and requests. Liaising with clients' lawyers and
accountants for ongoing estate and tax planning purposes.
NBF Management Liaison– working with
senior management to continuously improve and enhance our
clients' experience and overall level of
satisfaction.
Principal point of contact for: investment and portfolio
analysis; investment strategy and outlook; investment
recommendations; financial, tax and estate planning
advice.
