Colin focuses on creating personalized investment plans for his clients. This strategy allows them to effectively plan for retirement and to pass their wealth, along with prudent financial management practices to their heirs.
Colin is a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and has been working with high net worth investors and their families since 1990. He was trained and began his investment career at the World Trade Center in New York City with Dean Witter Reynolds Inc.,which evolved into Midland Walwyn Capital Inc. and later acquired by Merrill Lynch & Co. In 1999 he joined the predecessor firm to Echelon Wealth Partners. He is excited at the opportunity to now be partnered with National Bank Financial. He is a graduate of Carleton University with an Honours Degree in Economics.
Colin and his family are strong contributors and supporters of numerous charities and foundations some of which include, Ottawa Bandits Hockey, Rotary Club of West Ottawa and The World Junior Girls Golf Championship. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, road and mountain biking, golf, skiing and travel. He has two adult children, a grandchild and lives in Ottawa with his wife and Golden Retriever, Beau.
