Why use the single sign-on user ID?

The single sign-on user ID uses a single email and password for your various National Bank platforms.*

On top of making it easier to sign in to your accounts, this process offers greater security thanks to multi-factor identification using a validation code via text or email.

*National Bank Financial (NBFWM), National Bank Personal Banking, National Bank Direct Brokerage (NBDB), Private Banking 1859 (PB1859).

How do I set up my single sign-on user ID?

Is it your first time signing in?

  1. Click Client access at the top of the page and select Login

  2. On the sign in page, click on Create your secure access link under the Sign in button. 

  3. Fill out all the required information and follow the instructions.

Do you have an 8-digit user ID?

  1. Click Client access at the top of the page and select Login

  2. Once you’ve signed in, click Start in the yellow banner at the top of the page.
     
  3. Follow the instructions.

Discover the NBC Wealth app

Want to check your portfolio on the go? The NBC Wealth app lets you keep track of all your investments anytime, anyplace. 

  • Securely access your investments using the single sign-on user ID, Face ID or Touch ID. 
  • All our main features are available on the app. 
  • Option to switch to dark mode.

Getting started

For security and accessibility reasons, the NBC Wealth app is optimized to run on the latest Apple and Android operating systems.

Make sure that your device and the app are both updated to the latest version.

To update your operating system, go to Settings on your Apple or Android device. 

Open the app on your mobile device and select National Bank Financial – Wealth Management.

Click the Remember me box, then enter your single sign-on user ID (email) and password. 

If you do not have an email ID, but an account with an 8-digit ID, please contact our technical support service.

If you have investment portfolios with multiple National Bank divisions, a tab will be available to the right of the division’s logo.

We recommend that you activate biometric access on your first connection, in the Profile section, at the top right of the screen.

On the main screen of the app, click on Portfolio.

You will then see the list of all your investment accounts.

Choose the desired account and you will see the list of your assets under Assets, as well as your recent activities.

Accessing your online account

Sign in to the NBFWM platform and get a detailed view of your investments. You’ll also be able to access features such as:

  • Manage your personal information and preferences
  • In-depth views into your activity history 
  • Performance section 
  • Trade confirmations, internal reports, prospectuses and more 
  • Fund transfers
