Financial Science at Work
We take your investments into a different dimension. Our primary
objective is to help you achieve your financial goals. We work with
you in a collaborative fashion, to understand your needs and your risk
tolerance, and remove all the guesswork so that you feel comfortable
along the way. Then, you can focus on what you do best without
worrying about your investments. We do this by thoughtful
diversification and implementing the academic research-based premise
that portfolios titled toward small cap, low relative price (i.e.
value) and more profitable stocks have higher expected returns over a
long period of time than traditional index-based funds.
Why Dimensional?
Simply put… because our approach is different. It’s scientific. It’s
based on research. And, it’s proven. Dimensional works with a select
group of financial advisors globally. We have worked through a
comprehensive due-diligence process and continue to participate in
rigorous ongoing education in capital markets, portfolio management,
and trading in order to stay abreast of how the latest advances are
applied to Dimensional’s investment strategies.
"We consider a dimension to be a factor that explains
differences in returns, is persistent and pervasive, can be
cost-effectively captured in diversified portfolios, and is
consistent with an equilibrium view of investing."
Contrast with Conventional Management
Dimensional’s investment philosophy is centered on an equilibrium,
or "efficient market", view of public markets. In this view,
the best way to add value over conventional benchmarks is to structure
portfolios along the dimensions of expected returns. For equity
portfolios, expected returns are increased by giving greater weight to
smallcap, low relative price (value), and more profitable firms.
Dimensional tries to beat the market without "forecasting"
in the usual sense.
We don’t have to tell you that your portfolio is important to you.
And it’s important to us too. If you have an appetite for increasing
expected returns while lowering the cost of investing, contact us
today for a consultation on how the Dimensional approach can work for you.
