Partnership offers you a different approach to the traditional commission-based relationship. Unlike a typical brokerage account that charges a fee for every transaction, this account offers a single, all-inclusive fee linked to the value of your portfolio.

The Discretionary Program is designed to meet the needs of investors interested in assigning the day-to-day management of their portfolio to their own personal Portfolio Manager. It is ideal for those whose schedules, lifestyles or preferences require a more hands-off approach.

  • Investors generally need help with asset allocation decisions. They want to understand what to expect in the stock and bond markets. At this stage we determine what is necessary in order to create a complete financial plan. E.g. Insurance, Estate Planning, Charitable Giving.

Establish an Investment Policy Statement

  • Investors should develop a customized plan to meet their long term investment objectives.

Implementing the Plan

  • Investors need assistance in selecting the right investments and the right money managers to meet their needs.

Maintaining client Objectives and Reaching their Goals

  • Provide a regular quarterly and yearly review. Investors want to know if they are on track with the financial goals. Clients want accountability.

I am a Senior Wealth Advisor & Portfolio Manager with National Bank Financial, with over 25 years experience. I create customized financial solutions for high net worth clients and their families. I view my role as that of a CFO reporting to you, the CEO of your family.

I believe that the individual investor has significant advantage over institutional portfolios which lack by their very nature are slow to react and constrained by their size.

I believe that the bulk of the investment products available to the individual investors are too expensive and fail to deliver the forecast results.

I believe that prudent diversification and a flexible asset allocation are the cornerstones in risk reduction, however, a "buy and hold" philosophy is no longer valid in these volatile markets.

I believe that a successful investment plan requires realistic expectations and a means to evaluate progress towards stated goals.
