I chose to pursue a career in the Investment Industry in 1987 after graduating with a Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto.
I became a Wealth Advisor in 1998 and focussed on working with Managed Money. In 2003, I acquired my Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP) specializing in wealth management and financial planning. I also obtained my Life Insurance Licence in March 2002 to continue to add value for my clients.
For over 16 years, I have been a trusted family Advisor for my clients and have had the opportunity to work with 3 generations of family members. As a Wealth Advisor my approach starts with the development of a comprehensive financial plan outlining long-term financial goals and the steps to get there. As part of this plan, appropriate investment products is key. Insurance, tax consequences and estate planning are considerations that are also integral to this process.
My goal is to help clients work towards long term financial freedom and peace of mind.
On a personal side, I have been married for over 30 years and am a proud mother of a 21 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. My other interests include travelling, reading, and being a “hockey mom”. I enjoy spending time at hockey arenas watching my son play hockey.
