Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast

The " Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast is a team of law enforcement and emergency services personnel, who embark on a 900-kilometer bike ride through different communities in the Greater Vancouver Region over a 9 day period. Their goal is to raise funds and awareness supporting pediatric research and programs that support the families.

The Junior Team members are kids that are undergoing cancer treatment or who have a history of cancer." The proceeds of this event will help get kids to Camp Goodtimes; a camp where kids can enjoy an empowering and unforgettable recreational experience.

The live stream fundraiser will be taking place on September 23 via Zoom, and will include a silent auction amongst other exciting features.

The BeaYOUtiful Foundation

The BeaYOUtiful Foundation has been a community partner of the Rumberg Group since November 2020. "The organization looks to instil the value of self-worth, and to support girls in their confidence journey by facilitating supportive mentorship relationships between young girls and empowering women from their own community."

Through their unique one-on-one mentorship program, BeaYOUtiful emphasizes diversity and building lasting friendships. Their programs reach girls across Canada, and equips the next generation of women with the practical and emotional skills necessary to successfully navigate through life.

University of British Columbia Finance Association

The University of British Columbia Finance Association ( UBCFA) has been a community partner of the Rumberg Group since November 2020. The UBCFA aims to provide student members with opportunities in finance ranging from networking events, finance competitions, and instruction from industry professionals.

The UBCFA recently hosted a Portfolio Management session with the Rumberg Group's very own Lorriane Rumberg. Students learned about the critical components of portfolio management, what it takes to achieve successs, and how to break into the financial industry.
