In 1997, François Chartier, CPA, began a new career in financial services after serving as VP Finance and Strategic Development for a large company. He quickly partnered with Normand Lefebvre who had started his career in 1985. During the 25 years or so that Mr. Lefebvre worked with his clients, he was assisted by Marie-France Matte, his loyal collaborator, who continues to help our clients today. who will retire in December 2024.
In 1999, Hélène Grandmaison joined Normand & François. Passionate about portfolio management and responsible investing, she obtained the title of Responsible Investment Specialist (RIS) in 2020 and initiated the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in the choice of investment solutions for our portfolios.
After more than 12 years of experience in mortgage financing at the National Bank, Maude Leclerc joined the team of advisors in 2015, after obtaining her financial planner designation from the Institut Québécois de la Planification Financière (IQPF) and Investment Manager title (CIM), allowing her to provide a comprehensive support to our clients and their children.
The ever-increasing level of administrative work in our transforming industry brought Anne-Marie Philion in 2020 to join the team as wealth associate. She previously worked for 10 years in National Bank Financials’ Immigrant Investor Program, then successfully completed her securities course (CSC) and quickly developed the necessary skills to assist François, Hélène and Maude.
Then, the exponential expansion of the investment universe over the past few years led the team to recruit an investment analyst in 2019, Mathieu Guillaumont, who had previously worked at National Investment Bank for 7 years as a senior portfolio management analyst.
As the need for financial planning is growing, the team is expanding in 2021 with the arrival of Audrey Gervais, who also has her IQPF financial planner designation., to support Maude in the realization of our clients’ financial projections and plans.
To support the growing team and keep pace with technological and digital changes, Noémie Chartier joins the team in 2022 as Communication Associate to manage both our client communications and team processes. She holds a bachelor's degree in communications and a certificate in Business Management. She has previously worked for 6 years in the Bank's internal communications team.
In March 2024 and following the announcement of Marie-France’s retirement, the team welcomed Alicia Sauro, as an associate. She worked for more than 10 years in administration at the McGill University Health Centre, while completing a certificate in feminist studies and a certificate in administration, which she obtained in 2021.
After more than a quarter of a century of accompanying clients in their financial decisions and wealth management, Team Chartier Grandmaison Leclerc has built a solid reputation thanks to its dedication, hard work and the trust from clients. Mr Normand Lefebvre, founder
Mr. Normand Lefebvre is the Team’s founder.
A seasoned businessman, he was the owner of "Compagnie JP Corbeil Limitée", manufacturer of shoes and Orbit skates. In 1984, he sold his company and the following year joined the firm "Lévesque, Beaubien, Geoffrion" (now National Bank Financial) to pursue a career as a wealth advisor.
After many years of success, he will gradually retire from the management of the team until his retirement in 2007, with François and Hélène ensuring the continuity and development of the business.
