Colleen pioneered her Investment career in New York working with Merrill Lynch International. From there on, she has gained numerous licensing credentials giving her the aptitude to retain unprecedented financial expertise. Her career is supplemented by a generation of experience in the investment industry, both as a life-long Wealth Advisor, and as a former educator of investment strategy in the Edmonton community. She has consistently dedicated herself to teaching women and children on personal investing strategies and banking fundamentals. Her ability to educate clients and their family is what led her to co-founding the Investment Club for Kids.
She obtained her licensing for both Canadian and U.S. markets, broadening her exposure to wider industry practices. Since then, Colleen has continued to achieve highly acclaimed designations such as: Professional Financial Planner (PFP), Elder Planning Councilor (EPC) and acquired her Level 2 Life Insurance Certification.
Colleen taught investing for women at Merrill Lynch and Metro Community College to help support women investors in the industry. Additionally, she has occupied positions as treasurer and served on the board of directors for the Edmonton SPCA, now known as Edmonton Humane Society. In her free time, Colleen enjoys spending time with her husband Rory and the family at the cabin, working on her garden and caring for her much loved cat named Porche.
